ActionBible is an easy-to-use program that can help you quickly locate desired passages, keep track of what you've done, and record your ideas and questions. We think this would be a great tool for clergy, laypeople, and anyone else with a desire to delve into the Bible.
ActionBible has a plain and intuitive layout, and it's quite easy to get started with it. A pane on the left side contains a collapsible list of the books of the Bible; expanding each book displays a list of chapters. The main pane in the center of the screen displays the content of each chapter.

As such, the main window is a snap to understand, although it's also the epitome of bland. User-customization options are equally limited. The only truly useful feature we found was the ability to set the program to automatically sync your clock at regular intervals, though you're restricted to a few presets.

You can configure the program to use Cybersitter's search engine and schedule allowable access times. The program filters search attempts and Web sites according to a default list or user-defined keywords.
You'll also appreciate the blacklist that effectively shuns both URLs and phrases listed.
What's more, it includes a whitelist of sorts, with one simple click, the only sites accessible are the ones you've specified.
Though you won't find application blocking, screen captures, or a full keylogger feature, Cybersitter can log chats, sites visited, and any violation attempts, all of which can be sent to your e-mail.
Its user-friendly interface is password-protected though the 10-day trial disables this feature. While it isn't exactly feature-rich, this software will provide parents a fractional set of parental-control tools. CNET Editors' note: HomeSite requires a free Adobe membership.
